Today, we’re diving into a hot topic, potty training! Now, we know it's been the norm for generations to toilet-train our little ones but listen up - it doesn't have to be that way! Traditional potty training is all about control and punishment, which can do more harm than good for your kiddo's emotional health. Plus, it's not always the ideal approach for a toddler who craves power and control over their lives.
Here’s The Good News
You can let your toddler take the lead in learning how to use the potty naturally, just like how they learned to walk and talk! Imagine being able to provide a supportive environment and let your kiddo explore and learn at their own pace. And when they finally master the potty, they'll be beaming with pride and a sense of accomplishment.
Getting Started
Now, I'm not saying you should toss out all of your diapers right now. You can start by doing pre-potty training or toilet training warm-ups with your little one a few months before you plan to officially begin potty training. And don't worry if your child doesn't show any signs of readiness yet - the pre-potty training steps will help prepare them for success when the time comes.
